We’re back on the ice, Montclair! Clary Anderson Arena reopens October 20, and we can’t wait to welcome our community home. From Learn to Skate and hockey programs to birthday parties and public skating, our rink is where Montclair comes together to laugh, play, and make memories—on and off the ice.
We’re the heart of Montclair Township—just steps from downtown dining and the Walnut Street train station. For generations, Clary Anderson Arena has been the place where families and friends come together to skate, celebrate, and cheer each other on. With small-town warmth and big community spirit, our rink is more than a destination for ice sports—it’s where Montclair makes memories.
Clary Anderson Arena is Montclair’s community rink—revitalized through the incredible power of our neighbors coming together. In just days, our community raised over $400,000, securing the town’s support to move forward with critical renovations and a long-term plan for the future. Thanks to this shared commitment, the rink is opening a new chapter as a place where families, friends, and athletes of all ages can skate, celebrate, and create lasting memories together.
Our community came together in an incredible way to bring Clary Anderson Arena back to life—but the journey doesn’t stop here. Every dollar raised goes directly into the rink, ensuring safe operations today and building a stronger future for tomorrow.
Clary Anderson Arena has been a cornerstone for Montclair High School, Montclair Kimberly Academy, and our residents. Today, we continue that legacy with renewed commitment to serving everyone through inclusive multi-sport programming, professional management, and the same community spirit that built our foundation.

Perfect for experienced skaters looking to fine-tune skills and prepare for competition. Skaters can practice independently or with guidance from professional coaches certified by ISI, US Figure Skating, or the Professional Skaters Association.

Rookie Series with the NY Rangers
Once your child has learned the basics, Rookie League is the next step. Players test their skills in a fun, team-focused environment while learning game concepts, teamwork, and respect. Junior Rangers team jersey (with first registration)
