Our Learn to Skate program follows the nationally recognized Learn to Skate USA curriculum, offering structured classes for all ages and skill levels — from Snowplow Sam and Basic Skills 1–8 to Learn to Skate for Hockey. Skaters build balance, coordination, confidence, and strength in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Whether your goal is figure skating, hockey, or simply enjoying time on the ice, Learn to Skate USA provides a strong foundation and clear pathways to grow, progress, and fall in love with skating.
My Tot & Me at Clary Anderson Arena is a fun, first introduction to skating for parents and their little ones. Learn basic skills together in a playful, supportive setting while building confidence — and memories — side by side on the ice.

Our team is the heart of Clary Anderson Arena, and under the leadership of Skating Director Deana Sroka, skaters are supported from their very first steps on the ice. With years of coaching experience and a genuine passion for the sport, Deana leads a team of instructors who believe learning to skate should be positive, encouraging, and fun. By focusing on strong fundamentals, confidence-building, and age-appropriate instruction, the team helps skaters develop skills while enjoying the process — making Clary Anderson Arena a place where kids learn, grow, and have fun on the ice.
